The boys are back in town....

Good one! Don't think the Gunners can complain about 2-2, especially with Viera leaving the pitch after 30 minutes, and Sol Campells sending of 10 minutes before time! I must admit I think Sol looked pretty bad in the situation, but on the other hand; I can't imagine a top professional defender like Campell jeopardizing the result and f*ck up the team just to land one in the face of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer... allthough he is a little curly haired diving bastard, Ole Gunnar that is! Oh well....

Not much else has happened, it's been a quiet day with a certain alcohol induced lightness running through my body. Who said Unbearable lightness of being ? I hope to God it wasn't me!!!

Last night I dreamt....

... well, I dreamt that f*cking Paul Scholes scored 2 goals in injury time, making the result of tonights clash between Arsenal and Manchester United 2-3! I've been reluctant about going to the pub for the match, since I'm quite certain that The Gunners will loose, and thereby throw the championship away, oh well......

Music wise: My favorite sleaze, and Manics wannabee, band King Adora will release a new single on May 19th. It'll be double A-side "Born to Lose" / "Kamikaze". Their first album,Vibrate You was really good, and 35 minutes of pure vitriol and energy, so I'm looking very much forward to hear their new stuff. Maybe this time they will drop by Denmark for a concert or two....

Other musical news of great interest. Muse will apparently drop by Copenhagen in October as a part a European Tour, a showcase for their upcoming album, mentioned earlier on these very pages. It'll be great, and hopefully they won't be playing at Vega this time. Last time they did, the sound there was just horrible!

The internet's gone all holistic on me....

Ok, apparantly the Smiths tracks from yesterday will not be released, but only aired on BBC Radio. What can I say but, hurraiii for Napster, Kazaa and all the other filesharing programs.... just a second, the phone is ringing..

(Break)

Woops, that was the shitty shitty fag fags at RIAA, it's apparently not legal to write, speak or think about file sharing... not even for never published, super rarities that will never bring in a f*cking dime to any record company!

Yesterday I was introduced to the 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon game, which I had never heard of before. I thought of it as a funny concept, but I figured I could beat it one way or another. The Oracle of Bacon Virginia has so far proved me wrong! I mean; there's only 3 bloody stops from Charles Chaplin to Kevin Bacon, and sorry Roy, there's only 2 from Iben "Homewrecker" Hjejle! The only way I could win was by putting in Katja Kean, and that somehow seems like cheating.....

What a wasteland, what a f*cking wasteland....

The weekend is over... now it's time for easter holliday! it's been a neat weekend, with lots of drinking, listening to good music, going to an indie-smindie disco, and dancing (though I really can't) with goth chicks - happy days are here again! Arsenal also won 1-0 over Sheffield United in a rather dull match - as usual I have forgotten whether United are the blades or the owles.... oh well!

I been checking out some different internet comics lately. Dilbert is always good fun, and Doonesbury's always good for some political satire. These two are pretty well known, but I've discovered a more underground cartoon, that is also updated daily. Achewood is a rather morbid and strange comic, with some pretty cute looking bears. Most of the rather black 'n bleak jokes are concerned with pornography and death... and how can that not be funny?!!? If you're going for underground, Wulffmorgenthaler should also be a winner.

Music-wise: This coincides with my article for DNL about The Smiths. I think it's brilliant! A couple of years back they did something similar to celebrate the anniversary of The Queen is Dead. Back then Placebo did made excellent cover of 'Bigmouth Strikes Again', while Neil Hannon from Divine Comedy crooned his way through 'There's a Light That Never Goes Out'! I look particularly forward to hear Nada Surf cover the same song. At their recent gig at Voxhall they had a go at 'Love will Tear Us Apart' and succeded bigtime! For me it's a must buy!
