'cause the music they constantly play....

The heat is wearing of in Denmark, which means this might be the first year in a long time where I didn't round to dip myself into the Danish ocean. Oh well, I'll live....

There is a lot CD's being released the next couple of months, that I'm really looking forward to. Of course there's the new poppy, elegiac Manic Street Preachers album 'Life Blood' in October, but also a debut from Kasabian, and the difficult, especially after all the hype, second album from The Libertines. Other people might be more interested in the new album from the presumed dead Soulwax, or The Thrills. The Irish Beach Boys, has apparently dropped the whole lets namedrop every single American state thing, and started singing about teen stars of the 80's - and what did ever happened to Corey Haim?

I know you like the roll of the limousine wheel

Note to self: next time you make two stupid spelling mistakes in the first paragraph of your blog, don't leave it on display for 2 weeks by not writing any new posts!

It's been a fairly uneventful fortnight. The weather has finally turned great, and delivering mail has become quite nice. The one exception was last week were I was send out in middle of nowhere and thrown into the deep end on an unfamiliar route. I had a very long and very shitty day... Until I personally handed over a letter to Danish actor/model Renee Toft Simonsen, who's still quiet a stunner....

This weekend I spend in Odense, at my old buddy Stefans bachelor stag night. It was really good fun, and I got to see a lot of guys I hadn't seen for ages. A larger quantum of beer and absinth was consummated, and in the heat of the night, Stefan and made a bet about who could run 14 kilometers fastest the next morning. We both woke up hung over like f*ck, but actually managed to drag ourselves outside... and luckily for me Stefan broke down crying (more or less) after only 2 kilometers... how I laughed!

After that I jumped a train, and got to Ã…rhus just in time for the second half of the Community Shield game between Arsenal and Manchester United.... grrrt stuff!

That's pretty much that, for now. I'll be more regular from now on... I've started eating branflakes you see!
