fine art...

On Danish National Radio you can win a phone conversation with James Dean Bradfield... that's not a real cool prize is it? I've met the guy, and he's brilliant, but talking on the phone with him, that would just be stupid. And you just know the winner's gonna be a 16 year old girl who knows f*ck all about Richy, Holy Bible or sprayshirts!

Yesterdays Jesse Malin concert was good fun. He played for almost 2 hours and did a lot of covers and told a lot of cock-n-bull stories about him going hunting for prostitutes at age 11 and moving for Barbara Streisand!

I've been a bit busted today, and I've just stayed in tonight following the Danish National Teams match against Albania on the radio. From the sound of it I did miss out on a lot by not having the visual aspect of the match, and then I got to hear "First of the Gang to Die" instead of some commentator talking in circles!

And my "band" has finally got hold of a drumkit.... goddamn excellent weapon!

any given Friday....

After a good month of no-blogging due to moving, a trip to London and general not-being-arsed-ness, we're back.

The new flat is starting to look like a inhabitable place, and I'm going back to London in two weeks time. Arsenal play Champions League a the day before we arrive, which is a drag. I've also tried to find any good concerts while I'm there, but unfortunately I manage to miss Kasabian again as they play on Tuesday the 19th and we're not arriving until Thursday. Actually the, more or less, only band playing in London while I'm there, is my least favorite Danish band Superheroes. This combined with that fact that I'm also going to see Tottenhamscum play Bolton on the same trip is pretty unbearable. They're f*cking with me, as Kings of Leon would've said!

Tonight I'll go see Jesse Malin at Voxhall. I know next to nothing about him, and my frightening lack of knowledge about BRyan Adams doesn't help either. But it's been ages since I last went to a concert, so I'm looking very much forward to it.

...ish! I'll be back shortly, promise!
