I've never been that good with names....

Just bought the new Liam Lynch cd, Fake Songs with a full length extra DVD (100 Dkr), the old Rival Schools cd, United by Fate (40 Dkr, and Roy will be soooo proud!) and not least It's a Shame about Ray, the rather good Lemonheads single (also 40 dkr)!

I'll probably drop by Transmission for a few beers later on. Nothing wild, there are mail to deliever tomorrow morning....

Bad Man Crawley, such a bad man that Bob Dylan wrote a song to keep him in jail...

And that was todays cheer up lads to all the guys ('n dolls?) that have to do exams on Bob Dylan! One semester of sad ol' country git music, and still no one can tell me how many roads a man must walk down!

Go the entire Morrissey concert from last year on bootleg cd! It's a pretty good recording from Store Vega and along with a lot of really great, and bitter, comments, he aired quite a few new songs; 'The First of the Gang to Die', 'I like you', 'The World is full of Crashing Bores' and 'Irish Blood, English Heart'. They all seem pretty good, we'll just have to wait and see whether they'll be out on a 'real' cd some day!

Old Red he died, and every landlord in the district cried....

It says in todays newspaper that it's been 77 games since Arsenal last drew 0-0 in a game - a nice fact, that will bring me down the pub again next season, entertainment guaranteed!

A more bizar sport news story is that Pavel Nedved has been awarded The Golden Tapir in an Italian TV Show! Apparently it's an awarded for biggest f*ck up, and not just in sports! A country full of bribery scandals, The Mafia, and pornstars in Parliament, and Nedveds yellow card in the Champions League semi-final is THE biggest f*ck up???? I somehow find that hard to believe! On the other hand, I'm sure that Roy and Stephan are pleased about the worlds most diuretic animal finally making some headlines!

Been caught stealing once.....

A couple of funny Morrissey related pieces has come to my attention...

First Dead Kenny; Morrissey and Hammers fan, combine these two great, but currently rather unsuccesful, things into this funny piece:

This week of course it was the 20th anniversary of the release of Hand In Glove which seems as appropriate time as any to post this picture (left) of Smiths mainman Mozzer showing his true colours as a Boleyn Boy. Apparently his new solo stuff is really rather good. Titles are said to include I Was Looking For A Team, Then I Found A Team, And Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now; Frankly Mr Shankly Couldn't Make A Decent Side Out Of This Lot and worst of all Glenn Roeder's In A Coma (Oh No It's Serious). Roy brought to my attention these cool Moz quotes;

...In [America] American error is unthinkable, so you simply cannot watch the American news. I was here on September 11 and you could clearly see that it has given America another opportunity to bully people. When you come through airport customs, you must be abused and insulted. Americans are very big on people in authority and in uniform. In this country the police have absolute power - they can shoot you in the street and the courts will always side with them. So it is a very, very fascist country.'

And:

Interviewer: 'Did you hear TATU's version of How Soon Is Now?'
Morrissey: 'Yes it was magnificent. Absolutely. Again, I don't know much about them.'
Interviewer: 'They're the teenage Russian lesbians.'
Morrissey: 'Well, aren't we all?'

Wise words from the ol' champ!
