He never stuck around long enough for a one night stand...
My thoughts go out to all the drunken campers on field near Roskilde, my precise thought is; haw haw haw, it's raining you f*cking twats, enjoy the mudslide.... all while keeping my fingers crossed for good weather next week, when I am camping in a sh*thole near Ringe!
Manics are playing the Festival at 01.00, which to my, extensive, knowledge on the Manics is way beyond Nicky Wires bedtime.
I think it's nice that the festival hasn't decided to put more or less unknown bands on the big stage, just for the sake of filling it. Of course it's sad that bands like Flaming Lips are playing a secondary stage to the one where craptastic Saybia is puling of their whining Coldplaywannybeing sh*te, but they are probably better of with a more intimate tent, than a big empty muddy field with a tiny crowd, of whom most are waiting for Kashmir!
They also just announced that Moloko is playing the festival.... I couldn't care less, and i'm still hoping for a complementary Dandy Warhols concert!
If you're doing something crazy, go all the way! For example: if you going to crash Prince Williams birthday, do it dressed as Osama Bin Laden!
