Unlike popular belief, didn’t commit suicide because Johny Cash bought the ticket, I never was that big a fan! As opposed to The Cooper Temple Clause, of whom I’m a great admirer! I bought their new album,
Kick Up the Fire, and let the Flames Break Loose and its damn good, and just as unaccessible as the last. A lot of people never made it through the droning sound on the first track on
See this Through and Leave , and they probably won’t sit through the whole of this album either - but it’s good, really f*cking good!
Right now I’m caught between reading the godawful but university relevant
Jane Eyre , and the brilliant
American Tabloid , which won’t be on any curriculum list until 2034, and then only in the
“Hardboiled Crime Fiction - A lot better than the freakin’ Br?ntes” class - can’t wait for that one....
I’ll probably go downtown and pick up a copy of the new Muse album Absolution, later on. They haven’t let me down so far and I'm looking very much forward to the concert next month!
And oh yeah, the
new Suede single is horrible, nuff said.....
