she's got a black belt in karate

It's not more than a couple of days ago, that me and a couple of friends joked about P3 Sporten taking over the indietegrity role when Det Elektriske Barometer shuts down. And tonight they proved worthy once again. Driving home from the rather dull Arsenal victory, they slam on Flaming Lips' Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, how f*cking great is that!!?!!?

I dont' miss it all that much...

Since monday afternoon we've been without TV! Without warning it went black and has since refused to do anything! Oh well, I've survived so far, maybe due to the crap standard of Danish TV!

Danish Radio is also going down the drain. P3s new profile is practically turning them into The Voice. Now they've decided to close down 'Det Elektriske Barometer, whiny teenagers last stand, to standardize the stations musical profile! Well up yours, P3! I haven't been listening to the program for ages, but when I was younger and a tad more miserable, I listened inevery sunday evening. I even got a "Barometer" t-shirt somewhere in my closet, unfortunately not one that says STILLE (Danish for SILENCE). There's already a protest group up, with the motto "Vi vil ikke være STILLE" (We will not be silent!). Let's see what a bunch of sad teenagers can do....

There's a new DNL on its way, and I have just finished my short piece on the Divine Comedy. It's ok but probably won't interest a lot of people in The English Department, good taste in music don't come natural 'round here.....

And Anders; I don' have any Marie Frank cd's.... to your information they all belong to my girlfriend!

And you look very beautiful to me....

The latest Blur album has really grown on me! It lacks the obvious hits, but really works as a whole! The video for the third single, Good Song, can be seen here here, and is really worth a watch.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are playing at Vega in two days time, a show I really wish I was going to. Grandaddy are playing tonight at Voxhall, a show I think I can do without. One of my friends bonded big time with the bearded yanks on Roskilde 2001 or 2002, and were invited, all expenses paid, to one of their shows in Dublin. Pretty cool, while I still wait for TCTC to return to Århus as they promised me, oh well........
