This is our last goodbye...

I'm not all convinced by the concept of farewell concerts. I think I prefer bands to split up in an orgy of slamming doors, broken bottles and "I'll never talk to you again Brett, you f*cking c*nt... go on without me, your albums will all be sh*te from now"s! This outgrowing each other musically and were still great friends and we'll do one last gig for all our fans (in Kvægs (tam ta da tam) case, all 7 of them) kinda thing is sort of lame....

Been listening to the one song I have with My Red Cell all day, it's very good!

but so do monkeys... if they have guns!

Just received a message from the Coldplay mailing list. It's something about a track being avaliable for download, and the text goes something like this [yadayada] The track will cost £1.50 to download with all artist recording royalties being donated to 2 causes which the band support, these being, Stop Hand Gun Violence & Future Forests, this donation will be matched by EMI Records [yada].... How great would it be if this was only one cause.... Stop Hand Gun Violence & Future Forests. Hell yeah, I've been tired of all those new forests' for a while! Let's burn the f*ckers! I would donate, I would donate big time... I'd might even download a Coldplay track!

I'm a great fan of pouring alcohol into coffee. People should do that more often. Right now I'm having coffee spiked with Baileys, and it's just so very very nice. Maybe the general niceness also has do with my eye being ok again, and me being inside while everything cold seems to be f*cking about outside...

My stereo can hold three cd's at a time, which is nice. Less jumping up and down changing albums. But there a downsides. Like right now. With a smile on my face I sat in the room next door, in front of the computer (like now) and listened to Lipstick Traces - a Secret History. Maybe the longitude of this very good album sort of dazed me, 'cause all of sudden I realised that I'm actually listening to the new Kashmir album, which is very very shit! I haven't been arsed to get up and change the album, and the remote control seems miles away.... and the heard it all beforeness of Zitilites is slowly mellowing me out.... oh well...

John has been very nice and invited me to the Bird Hits Plane label night tomorrow! Finally I will witness the grandeur of Kvæg (tam ta da da tam) , and that at their very farewell concert.... maybe I should wear my I Hate Danish Indie Rock shirt down there... I sincerly hope that Kvæg (Tam ta da da tam) fan number one, Anders will be there, come on Anders... know ya want to!

The best players in the world, gathering, mid season, to raise money to fight poverty! I don’t doubt the good intentions behind, but it seems rather pointless. It obvious that none of the stars are really interested in playing a great game of football, since they have all played hard games during the weekend and will play again during the week! Why don’t they just do a sort of “Operation Dagsværk” for overpaid football players? If van Nistelrooy, Zidane, Ronaldo and Henry just donated a weeks worth of pay checks, I’m pretty sure you could remove any trace of debt in Angola and Somalia.... This Charity sh*t seems like a pretty Bono thing to do....

... on the other hand, maybe you should let Ron Aldo keep his check, he’s obviously saving for a dental plan....

Or I will attack, and you don’t want that....

Huzza!
I’m in Assens, aka the seaside town, that they forgot to close down, and over night my left eye got infected! With what I don’t know, but it’s f*cking gross! The only thing worse than being sick, is being sick in a yukky way! Oh well....

And obviously, the original Black Attack (TM) wasn’t York/Cole but Wright/Campbell, my mistake!

And yeah, Suede will record another album, somewhere in the future... when the bills starts building up around 'em.... can't wait for that tour without Brett!!!

I saw a lot of football yesterday!A suprisingly good english First Division game, featuring two former Arsenal players, Steven Sidwell for Reading and John Halls for Stoke! Later I caught 3 of the 6 red cards in Barcelonas cwazy cwazy 1-3 victory! Good fun to see Giovanni van Bronckhorst alongside the Barcelona oldies !
I wish I saw Chelsea loose 1-2... at home... to Notlob.... funny sh*t!

All the Arsenal fans I know have been quite impressed with Kolo Toure this season, but who wouldn't try their best if they had Martin Keown and Sol Campbell screaming at them [via Arseblog]. "'Kolo, come here, Kolo go there, Kolo, you must think now!", great stuff!

If Arsenal just beat Blackburn and the original black attack, they're back at number one. Fingers crossed!
