Ricochets across the ruins as words fly like shrapnel

I try to keep an eye out for the next big thing in UK indie rock, and I think Scottish outfit Franz Ferdinands first single Take Me Out is extremly catchy. Song and video should be avaliable here. It's not very original, but hey....

This friday nights forecast indicates Smack the Pony, Entrapment and an Irish Coffee or two....

Such a rush, to do nothing at all....

Just agreed to work all of next week, and just found out that I haven't had a saturday off since mid November! Not that is a big problem really, I've heard of certain people who has to work all week every week!

I have also started studying for my bachelor project on American Anti Communism, since hard work and study apparently pays of in the end....

And for some reason Adobe Reader is mega malfunctioning on my computer... at first I couldn't open the program or any pdf. files, then I tried to re-install it, but it wouldn't dudge and said something about a missing key and that I should try'n restart... and after I erased every trace of the damn program in all its disguises, and wanted to download it from scratch, well it told me something about a missing key again and refused to do anything! Stupid technology!

Milk of amnesia, you make it easier

I'mm still a bit hung over from the weekend, and I managed to crash my bike, while driving to work. It was not a bad crash. The road was extremely slippery because of the cold, and when I had to make a sharp turn and sensibly put my foot to the ground to sort avoid sliding, well my foot slid along with the bike! A guy stopped his car to check if I was ok, I was, and I find it comforting that people look out for each other.... also at 05.30 in the morning!

I finished The Cold Six Thousand earlier this week, and can't wait to get to the UK and pick up some James Elroys novels. Wether it's crime or politics (related to crime, obviously) his gritty, hardcore style is just superb.
