They must have put something in the water, 'cause something's not in order...
So it's my first birthday in four years, and the weather's been lo-ve-ly! Cold, but a clear sky and sunshine... I've been a good little boy.... ish!
My parents dropped by early for, and bringing with them, lunch. I got a digital camera from my parents and grandmother combined and The Office - Series 2 from my littlebrother, so it's been nice indeed! Now I plan to upgrade my blog profile so I can post pictures here, and I know just what the first picture will be! No no no, you'll have to wait and see!
Were going to London tomorrow, so I'll miss the Oscars tonight... not a big loss. When I come to think of it, I have never ever stayed up for, or given a f*ck about, the Oscars! But London's gonna be great. I know it's only about a month ago I was there last time, but that was pretty much on my own. This time I'm with people and I think it's going to be a lot of fun!
Yesterday I bought the Franz Ferdinand album, and after quite a few listenings I have concluded that it's a pretty good album. No, it probably won't bring down the interest rate but it sound a helluvalot more exciting than your average Coldplay and Travis album!
And, obviously, I went down the pub yesterday to see Arsenal-Charlton, and got a nasty headache in return. Roy has mentioned it before, but they are apparently spiking their beer with something nasty at the Billabong Bar. The fact that Charlton had a shot deflected of the goalpost a few minutes before time also brought forth the comment "Why must it be so hard to be an Arsenal supporter?" from hardcore fan Lars! Sort of funny coming from a guy whos team is now 9 points clear at the top....
