Images of perfection, suntan and napalm

I can't remeber/don't know what band it was that called an album/a song 'Vulgar Display of Power', but that was what went on last night on Highbury Stadium... and, suprise surprise, seeing Arsenal beat drrrrty Leeds 5-0 saved my otherwise shitty day. That United is down 1-0 against Portsmouth right now, is just icing on the sweet sweet cake!

I don't like these days, they make me feel so small

Horrible day. Dunno why. Sometimes you just come across days that leave you drained of energy, both physically and emotionally, even though you've done f*ck all. I'm going through one of those days right now, and honestly: I feel like crying. Dunno why.

Oh well in 2 hours time Arsenal will hopefully kick the living shit outa drrrty Leeds, and all will be good and well! Until then I'll go look for my Jeff Buckley cd..... or something!

Fact: 5 outa 5 kids who kill love Slayer

Radio journalists aren't always succesful in pronouncing band names. I can forgive them for having problems with Gorky Zycotic Mynci, but when it's simply lack of musical knowledge I get a bit annoyed. Like this morning where a female radiohost decided that the band behind 'There she Goes' was called The LAs (as in Los Angeles or LA Guns)! That's just ignorance Christina Højer!

Yesterday my order from The T-Shirt Grill arrived, and four nice tees' been added to my collection. I think the black one with "Culture Slut" written in pink will be saved for a special occasion....

didn't you know that thing look better with a little bit of razzmatazz

Bergman Rock.... I wasn't impressed. A lot of jumping around and silly Scanian inbetween songs banter, but the songs where sh*t and as a whole the concert were pretty predictable. The ol' school Bob Hund fans obviously swallowed everything and came back for refills, but as a, sort of neutral, spectator I was far from impressed. About half way through the concert the leadsinger told us, that tomorrow the worlds population would be divided in two; the ones that were at Voxhall watching Bergman Rock, and the ones that weren't.... wish I was among the last.....

I also spoke to one of the bartenders about the cancelled Weeping Willows show, and she told me that the band themselves had cancelled since they didn't think it would be worthwhile driving from Copenhagen with the small amount of tickets sold. Ok, to be fair, 18 tickets in pre-sale ain't a lot, so I might forgive 'em.... but I still would have loved hearing their version of 'There is a Light that Never Goes Out' again.

On a more positive note; there's cheap Newcastle Brown Ale in NETTO this week, and not the small crappy bottles, no no, it's the 500 ml cans!

And is it just me, or is The Moz looking old old old? I heard a couple of the new songs, and I must say... it's hardly new 'Everyday is Like Sunday's or 'The Last of the Famous International Playboys's w I'm hearing, but oh well, since it's the Moz I'll be satified with less than that.

Forgive me, baby but don't worry
Love is always having to
say you're sorry

First nothing happened, and I had nothing to write about. The a lot happened, and I didn't have time to write. Right now I must say that were back in that first category, but two weeks of nothing is presumably all a blog can take!

Yesterday Weeping Willows cancelled their show at Voxhall because they hadn't sold enough tickets in pre-sale. This sort of pisses me off, what did they expect? Sold out 3 weeks in advance? Last time thwe drew a crowd of about 70 people, and that was just after they were powerplayed on P3! If they aren't gonna show up unless a certain amount of tickets are sold i advance, then don't bother at all, it's sure no way to win new fans!

So tonight I'm going down to the same place to tjeck out Bergman Rock, the artists also known, when they sing in Scanian, as Bob Hund. The latter is known to put on a high octane show, so hopefully it'll be good, and has sold more than 50 tickets.... yes, I'm still miffed about that Weeping Willows show.....
