You burden me with your questions....

It's not even 11 and I'm very tired. I like my job, but sometimes the start at 6 o'clock in the morning can sort of take the jazz outa your day. There's been some major changes at the postoffice today, with routes being shifted and interior moved around. I've also been relocated, to another route. At first I found that a bit annoying, since I know my current route as the back of my hand. But they needed someone experienced (I've been there over a year now, which is about 7 dogs years and 20 Boogie years) to take care of mail for the entire univers...ity, I was moved. As it turns out, my new route is pretty easy and with a minimum of stairs, so it'll be allright. Only problem is that my meeting time also changes... to 5.30, which won't do my saturday nights any good. Oh well....

I woke up this morning suffering from too little sleep and a bit too much beer last night. As I went through the cupboard I found some English painkillers, and may I just state for the record; that painkillers also containing caffein is a very good idea!

And my Nephew review is now online and can be found here (in Danish). It's hardly a masterpiece, but it ain't half bad either. With a little luck it will open up for more assignments, fingers crossed.

Now I will go watch Columbo untill I fall asleep. That's the good thing about Columbo; you are always told who the killers is within the first half hour... no need to stay awake till the end!

tonight – all right – I might – just fight

So the blog (pun intended) band line up goes something like this: Chuck Clarke (lead guitar), C.C. Cherry (rythm guitar), Cole Rush (Bass), Ike Clarke (synth/vocal) & Patti Velvet (*giggle*) on drums.... not a bad crew I must say! Any latercomers will be equiped with a trombone...

... and I'm shocked to discover that my huge and very expensive Danish-English dictionary doesn't have an entry for 'klaves' (the two pieces of wood you bang together)! Am I spelling it wrong?

My throat feels fine, but apparently isn't, since I've just started coughing up blood... strange!

And I might have landed a review gig for Danish music magazine Gaffa, thanx Karina! It's on Friday and concerns Danish group Nephew in Århus' very own Tivoli Friheden - a hotspot for new up-coming indie bands!

And since John, and a lot of other people, have already linked to the new Morrissey video, I'll link to the Britney 'Toxic' video instead... it's just as(s) good!

I don't look back 'cause the reason is treason

I mentioned British rockers Kasabian before, in connection with the TCTC/BRMC concert at Brixton Academy, but their new singles deserves another mention. 'Reason is Treason' is a brilliant number, sounding a bit like TCTC and Primal Scream ano 'XTRMNTR'. There is a preview on their homepage, but all you evil napster/emule/whattheirstealin'names users can probably find the whole thing elsewhere, it's definetly worth a listen!

My throat is getting better, but my economy is worse than I thought, so I don't think I'll see Love Shop on friday, shame.....

And the Clarke Brothers might tjeck out if they are brother in country music as well! My country name is Claude Pitts, which is ok I guess, all though I had my hopes up for Lyle something ... or Billy Ray Cy..mthing!

'Cos there's more to me than this twisted side

The suns starts shining and I get a throat infection.... not f*cking fair! I can't remember my throat ever being so sore, and eating has just been no fun at all. My patented potato/tomato/chili soup has sort of made thing better, but my head still hurts and I'm feeling waaay below average!

The fact that Brett Anderson are playing at Rock 'n Royal hasn't saved my day either.... his solo stuff is going to be sh*te, I'm sure of it. Except if he brings in Bernard Butler, but that's just wishful thinking!

I'm pretty broke right now, which is a drag since I would really like to see Love Shop at Train on friday, eventhough I have to work saturday. I can't stress enough how good a band they are, both on record and live. Best band in Denmark, no freakin' competition!

And my Rock Star Name would be 'Cole Rush', which is ok cool... find your rock star name here.

Loser - Liar - Fake - Phoney

I finally agreed to do some sorting among my clothes today, and it was a tough call. In the end my 'Det Elektriske Barometer' t-shirt made while I have said goodbye to a lot of bandwear. My grey, and violently outa shape, Manic Street Preachers Millenium tee, my 'Girls & Boys' long sleeved shirt, a couple of Suede-shirts and... well, ehh, my red Kashmir t-shirt, bought at very shitty concert in London! I promise never to wear red again unless it is part of a Gunners outfit. It's a bit sad (but only a little tiny bit) but it sure created some room in the closet... and for f*ck sake; 'Girls & Boys' came out in 94, its days' been numbered for while....
Now I look forward to see it on some young punk indie kid who found it in the bargain bin at a Red Cross second hand shop!
